Sammel Yane was the Sith Empire's ambassador to the Galactic Republic and attache on the planet Coruscant. After the attack on the Fortitude, Yane was asked to comment on the Empire's involvement, and released a short statement saying that the Empire had no operations in the Tammuz sector and could not be held responsible for the actions of "rogue elements".
