Frederick Lionel Dove (1855 - 11 June 1932) was a businessman and local politician. A builder and contractor, he was born in Islington. At various times he was President of the Institute of Builders, the London Master Builders' Association and of the National Federation of Builders. In 1916 he was resident at "Halesworth", Crouch Hill, Finsbury Park; by 1922 he was living at "The Mount House", Hadley, Middlesex. From 1908 he was a member of the Metropolitan Water Board, serving as vice chairman.
