Keto was an Okeanid naiad nymph. She was loved by the god Helios. Keto bore him a daughter Astris who was born a star nymph and became the wife of the river-god of Indian river Hydaspes. It is possible that Keto also was from India. Very little information about Keto exists and she is only identified by Nonnus in Dionysiaca.
