Walter Moon was a prominent member of the Global Community who was promoted to the role of Supreme Commander after Leon Fortunato's promotion to High Reverend Father of Carpathianism and Jim Hickman's death. He was shot dead by Nicolae Carpathia in "Desecration" for failing to stop Tsion Ben-Judah's latest transmitted message. After his death, the Supreme Commander position was dissolved.
