Although they were designed to emit fireballs whenever a magical field was crossed, these fields do not seem to activate when crossed by demons. Unfortunately, this makes a Fire Tower totally ineffective as a defensive measure against the minions of Hell. On Hell difficulty, Fire Towers are immune to Poison.
