HMS Queen Elizabeth I was a royal yacht of the Royal Manticoran Navy, in service during the rule of King Roger II in the mid-17th Century PD. The ship's inertial compensator suddenly failed as the result of sabotage while Queen Consort Solange was onboard. The entire crew and the queen were killed, and many Manticorans were certain it was a Havenite assassination.
