In 2377, when a chronokinetic surge fractured the USS Voyager into thirty-seven different time frames, Commander Chakotay and Captain Janeway utilized the ship's astrometrics lab, which had been equipped with Borg temporal sensors, to discern the extent of the fragmentation. Using this information, they were able bring Voyager back into temporal sync, and change history in such a way as the accident never occurred. (VOY: "Shattered")
