Once a great general of Markwin's army, Palkar and his followers were exiled from Mintwallin after a bloody civil war. Palkar and his troops allied with cyclopses deep within the labyrinth, and are holding hostage the key to the Mintwallin Laboratory. Palkar mentions a group who were trying to dig to the surface. Those mentioned were killed by a human warrior near the main entrance to the Ancient Temple; their corpses lay at the start of the long corridor leading from the central square of the temple up to the lone dragon spawn.
