The Coalition of the Sun or known commonly as the Sun Coalition is a Floridian extremist military and political power in Gainesville and is centered in First Coast. Its political agenda is mostly of that of nationalistic and social conservatism tendencies, an idea that was already heavy in northern Florida. Created in 2011, it has gained a massive following and continues to grow. The parties leadership is usually found disagreeing with the southern province of South Florida on the issue of trading with Cuba, claiming that the Cubans are in fact Communist, the enemy that attacked Florida in 1984.
