Octar Ironwall is a fighter and one of the current Captains of the Marali Vanguard. He is also known for his love for all magical things (esp. wizards, gapers, and battle axes of speed). He is the son of Charaton, but the story of his disgraced family is not in the public domain. Octar was first noticed by society in 436, when he joined the Vanguard of the northern city, at the time led by the ranger Fang. His first exploits are recorded in the narratives of the rise and fall of Rivolus and the Black Hand forts throughout the Bleeding Moon of the same year.
