Melvia Siebel is a supporting character in Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland. Melvia (more commonly refered to as "Mel") is an experienced adventurer gifted with the ability of abnormally freakish strength. She grew up in the village of Alanya and is the best friend of Cecilia Helmold, who she has a great attachment to. Because of her strength, Mel doesn't know what it's like to be weak and wants to protect others around her. Although she watches out for others, she herself is often very reckless, and charges head first into situations. She is proud of her skills, and cocky about her strength.
