A dome-shaped laboratory in southern Kooluk which focussed on Rune Cannon research, perhaps the only installation of such a large scale known to exist. Discovering the true nature of the Evil Eye was of particular importance to the scientists here. Despite its exterior appearance, most of the laboratory was built underground with the dome structure merely serving as an entrance way into the facility. Young people from Merseto were sometimes taken to Caleron for experimentation, often resulting in their transformation into fishmen.
