The magnetic/buzzsaw wristwatch was a modified wristwatch equipped with a miniature electro-magnet and circular saw. Built around a Submariner wristwatch produced by Rolex, the device was developed by the British Secret Intelligence Service's (SIS/MI6) research and development division, Q-Branch. Such a device first appeared in Eon Productions' 1973 James Bond film Live and Let Die. A generic wristwatch variant with a magnet feature later appeared in the 1997 video-game GoldenEye 007.
