Andrej Kepzen was a Human male who served as a bomber pilot in the Republic Navy of the and later Imperial Navy. During his career, he fought in the last year of the Clone Wars for the Galactic Republic. Kepzen continued serving the newly-created Galactic Empire, and achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel, and commanded a bomber training squadron stationed on Imperial Center. In 8 BBY, Kepzen was test piloting a TIE heavy bomber in the mountains of Coruscant, near the city.
