The Greater Path was a division of magic although the difference from the Lesser Path was only virtual; Only few realize that there is not Greater or Lesser forms, only Magic. The Greater Path is supposed to be the better path; the noble path, and in Midkemia it was considered a lost art known only to the Ishapians (Apart from Macros the Black) until the Riftwar. Tully considered that Pug should study this lost art, since he had problem casting spells of traditional magic. However the Greater Path was followed by The Assembly of the Great Ones upon Kelewan.
