Mobity Mosely is a friend of Roosevelt Franklin, and is heard in the album The Year of Roosevelt Franklin. He has his own unique way of memorizing the months of the year, as expressed in the song, "Mobity Mosely's Months". His speech pattern (and his name) are derived from the Boss-Tones' 1958 hit single "Mope-Itty-Mope."
