Deller was an associate of Ready Eddie who plotted to topple Deguerre. In 2136, when caught by Deguerre he escaped while the two were being interrogated and took the opportunity to make a show of loyalty to Deguerre. He was then sent to Paris on the Sub-Atlantic Shuttle with a new face and a hit list. In 2137 he returned to Mega-City One disguised as Detective Thibault Guillory.
