Goshu was major-domo and head servant of Doji Takozawa, a young artisan and painter. He moved to Mujitsu village in the Naishou province with his lord, who was seeking solitude for artistic inspiration from nature. Takozawa's son disappeared, and a group of samurai investigated several crimes which also happened in the villages near Mujitsu. They exposed a Bloodspeaker cell who had abducted the child.
