The arctus cloak was a cloaking device invented by Sekotan scientists. Instead of cloaking the ship to remain undetected, it would coat the ship in a transparent chemical that would then grow into an weightless asteroid like mass, making the ship look exactly like an asteroid. Unless someone fired upon the asteroid, they would never know whether it was an asteroid or one of the ships using the arctus cloaking device.
