The .09x40mm CNR-3 round is a hyper-dense needle round that was designed for SMS projection from a firearm. It was originally designed for small arms munitions for UFSC troops, however, after war with the Heretic broke out, the round quickly spread around the ASTO systems, and subsequently became a popular round among rifles.
