Romeo II was the King of Naples for a short period from 1731 to 1734. During his short reign, he was primarily a figurehead, with the Cardinal Baptista serving as his regent. He was very sickly, and died only a couple years after succeeding his mother Lucentia. His brother Benvolio III would be the next Neapolitan king
