Galua (c. 1050BC - 980BC) was the founder and first leader of the Huwa'lokami-jahuano Tribe in modern-day Kailua, Hawaii. She believed females were dominant of males and when couples in her tribe had male newborns: she would publicly shame them. Then she went on to sacrifice male toddlers and infants to a goddess named Halkusa; who was in fact Galua's grandmother.
