The black knight is the sixth-tier creature of the Necropolis faction in Heroes of Might and Magic III. It can be recruited from the Hall of Darkness. The black knight is an excellent close-combat fighter, with high hit points and damage, but also quite expensive. The Curse ability has a 20% chance of ensuring that enemies that have been attacked by the black knight, inflict their minimum damage. This unit is well worth the high cost. The black knight can be upgraded to the dread knight.
