The AR200 features an arched double-cutaway mahogany body with a bound top mated to a set-in three-piece maple neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with block position markers. Components include dual Ibanez Vintage humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls and a fixed bridge and tailpiece. The AR300 is a similar model with a maple top and DiMarzio pickups. The AR100 is a similar model with a maple top and a one-piece neck with dot fretboard inlays. The AR200 was discontinued after 1992, but the model name resurfaced in 1998.
