X-Men is an American action cartoon about the Marvel comics superhero team of the same name. The series ran from the early to late 1990's. The series often dealt with hatred and violence towards mutants and used this as an allegory for racism in real life. The series also adapted a number of major storylines from the comics, such as "The Dark Phoenix Saga", "Days of Future Past" and "The Phalanx Covenant."
