Zigum was one of the seven sons of Galin Druinakh (or Drûhr). He was, with his brothers Balin, Furin I, Ghûrin son of Ghâlin, Orin, and Druhar son of the Dwarf-woman Bori while the seventh brother, Naug Zigildun, was the son of Galin´s second wife Ori.
