A directional block is a special type of block introduced in Chip's Challenge 2. They can only be pushed in the direction indicated by their arrows. Like ice blocks, multiple directional blocks in a row can be pushed simultaneously. They turn into floor when pushed into water. Tiles underneath directional blocks are always visible, even without the secret eye. The directions of a directional block can only be changed with train track, as demonstrated by the level Turning Point. Force floors and ice will not change their directions.
