"You'll Never Take the Texas Out of Me" is a song written for the 1981 Sesame Street album Sesame Country. Big Bird invites Tanya Tucker to sing the song with him, asking her about life in Texas. Tanya says she's not sad about leaving the state, because when she left, she took Texas with her. She explains in song, and Big Bird joins singing "you can't take Sesame Street out of me."
