A Palm Augmented Outward Block (sonbadak kodureo momtong bakkat makgi) is a palm-up Outward Block where the blocking arm is assisted by the off-hand. In particular, the off-hand is held with the palm pressed against the outer forearm of the blocking arm. At the end of the block, the assisting hand is pulled slightly away from the blocking arm, so that it is not touching the blocking arm. The Palm Augmented Outward Block appears, for example, in the form Sipjin.
