The Pulse Bombu is a creature that consists entirely of raw electricity. It glows as it floats through the air. It periodically releases explosive segments from its body and lacks any intelligence other than an instinctive attraction to charged energy sources. There is a variant known as Scatter Bombu, that lurks inside of tunnels. Invisible Pulse Bombus that can only be seen with the X-Ray Visor also exist. A robotic version created by the Luminoth appears in Metroid Prime 2. It is known as the Harmony Class Drone. It behaves and is similar in appearance to the Pulse Bombus.
