Dark link appears in the Return of Twilight Princess, when Hyrule is threatened by a new evil, bad enough to weaken the spell put on Link to protect him from turning into a ghost at Twilight, Link and Midna have to improvise. Midna takes up the Fused Shadow again, and puts it on, creating a power surge that will protect link from the ghost form of Twilight, but his new form: That of Dark Link. He only appears like this in brief though, he mostly apears as Twilink.--TwilightMidna 15:33, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
