In April 2376, the Akarana was temporarily called upon by the Starfleet Corps of Engineers to extend the hand of peace from the United Federation of Planets to Kropasar and begin the reconstruction of that world, carrying goods and technology as well as Federation personnel such as engineers and diplomats.
