The Great Holding is a storage area in the basement of the Stone of Tear where among other things are kept all of the Ter'angreal that have been collected over the centuries by the Lords of Tear. Mat visits the Great Holding three days after the bubble of evil and after Egwene told him of the Twisted redstone doorframe but he doesn't use it this time.
