The Battle of the Kiennese Pass was a defining and decisive victory for the Hulstrian Rebellion Force, led by Field Marshall Franz von Rothingren, against the Holy Imperial Military of Luthori, led by General John Cordington, during the Great Hulstrian Rebellion. It proved to be the longest, largest, and last battle of the Great Rebellion, as the defeat of Cordington's army prompted the independence of the Hulstrian colonies from the Luthori Empire. The Battle of Kiennese Pass also proved to be one of the bloodiest battles of the rebellion; the famous "Charge of the Hulstrian Lancers" accounted for nearly 3,000 deaths for Cordington's army alone.
