Ser Venier was an employee in Waste Heat Management of the Serifosa branch of the Komarr Terraforming Project. He was not, however, part of the conspiracy to collapse the Komarr-Barrayar wormhole. He did not love Barrayarans, but did not seem to fear them much, either. Described as slight and short, with brown eyes and a weak chin, his nervous air led Miles Vorkosigan to describe him as "rabbity". His attempt to propose marriage to Ekaterin Vorsoisson was met politely, but with concealed embarrassment and amusement.
