Death Weapon Meister Academy (死神武器職人専門学校, Shinigami Buki Shokunin Senmon Gakkō) or DWMA (死武専, Shibusen) for short, is a school located almost in the center of Death City, Nevada, in the United States. Run by Death, the Shinigami himself, the Academy is a training facility for Meisters and Demon Weapons. Death created the school as an organization that protects peace in order to prevent the rebirth of a Kishin (鬼神), a god-like individual born from the over-hunting of innocent souls whose madness wavelength could destroy the entire world.
