Starbase 732 was a Federation station active in the 24th century. It is located just outside the Briar Patch near the entrance to one of the few safe routes through the nebula to the sectors beyond. (Star Trek: Banshee Squadron) The starship USS Sutherland frequently stopped there on its patrol route.
