In fact, Armorhide is smarter and more learned than just about any three random robots you'd care to name put together. But in a time of war, it's his physical abilities that seem to be what people remember, so he's gained a reputation as being little more than a tough-bot. To Armorhide, this is gravely insulting, and though he never actually shirks his duty in battle, he does get sullen. His partner Rhinox, himself someone smarter than his physical stature suggests, tries to boost the Mini-Con's confidence, but in the midst of a battle, Armorhide often mistakes Rhinox's loud and forceful command style for condescention.
