Erayyxa was an Outer Rim world. It was in the Erayyxa system, part of the Belderone sector, near the Gordian Reach. It had a very diverse range of sentients despite its distance from major hyperspace routes. It joined the Republic near the end of the New Sith Wars but was largely ignored, resulting in the rise of so many warlords that the actual government ceased to exist by 700 BBY. The planet was united under one warlord shortly before the Clone Wars and it became a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The Galactic Empire took over the planet in 18 BBY and it became independent in 6 ABY. It went to war with the New Republic shortly before the Yuuzhan Vong War and was later conquered by the Yuuzhan Vong.
