Stone snake is a type of monster in ADOM. They are uncommon monsters that can pass through stone and closed doors. Their bite, should it damage the PC, can both poison and slow him/her down. Stone snakes can see invisible and in darkness, and can smash doors. They are chaotic, which is unusual for naturally occurring animals like snakes. Like other creatures of stone, stone snakes can be damaged quite effectively by either zapping a wand of digging or casting the Mystic Shovel spell at them. They are also susceptible to pick axes and Hammerhead.
