F. Lee Barnum is a lawyer hired (and later fired) by Angelica after she learns about him from a television commercial. He turns out to be nothing more than a marketing ploy. His name is most likely a combination of real life lawyer F. Lee Bailey and circus ringleader P. T. Barnum, who had a reputation for creating scams and hoaxes. The Potato chip Company's boss in The Case of the Missing Rugrat wears similar clothes as F. Lee Barnum.
