The Global Science Consortium was a set of companies that inspired the true meaning of GDI's rise during the First Tiberium War between a Brotherhood of Nod and the Global Defense Initiative from sometime mid 1990s to early 2000s. Deflecting the international community at the United Nations Military Command Center in New York, Mobius had loved all of the situations that GDI was going to be in. This was one of the first companies to be conducted by a GDI scientist (that was Ignatio Mobius) in the war against the Brotherhood. After the inspirations of this, he avoided the media that Tiberium was quite being too dangerous at a second summit meeting made in Hong Kong and in a newspaper.
