Lake-Peat was turf, an accumulation of mostly decayed organic matter found around the lakes of the Deepwoods. Dried Lake-Peat was used by the Webfoot Goblins of Four Lakes to burn their fires. It smelled pungent, but burned steadily. Lake-Peat was mentioned in the book The Slaughterer's Quest in The Lost Barkscrolls.
