Second Home was a failed settlement after the Great Cataclysm and acts as the location of the tutorial quests within the game, where new players are sent to confront demons with their mentor DB Kuroe. During the attack on Second Home, Kuroe dies and the player is revived in the Third Home settlement. Players return to Second Home during the later part of the acts to investigate what remains.
