Meric was a male Twi'lek lieutenant who served the Galactic Republic during the Galactic War against the resurgent Sith Empire. Stationed on Quesh during the Quesh war, he identified Imperial activity on the rooftops of several captured Republic factories. When the soldiers he dispatched to investigate did not return, Meric persuaded a fellow Republic citizen to storm the roofs of the factories and prevent Imperial war droids from detonating explosives that would have destroyed them.
