Yaten is a 10th grade student at Juuban Municipal High School, and is the most artistic among the group. She likes photography, but she can also be annoying, since she snatches Usagi's letter to Mamoru and makes fun of her spelling. She does not belong to any club, and prefers to go home. She does not interact much with people around her. According to Takeuchi, she is a jerk and egotist. She has never carried anything heavier than chopsticks and the most unpleasant thing she can face is injuring her face or body. She is very delicate, nervous and always holds grudges.
