The Office of the President is the governmental administration office with the responsibility of coordinating the actions of the work of all governmental ministry offices on various matters, and serving and assisting the President in his daily work. The head of the Office is the Reichskanzler (Chancellor of the Realm), who is the most senior civil servant in the NDR. In addition, it is in charge of other governmental bodies, which are directly under the President's responsibilities.
