Beltran Leynier is Lord of Verdanta Castle and father to six children. His children are Eddard, Petro, Tessa, Coryn, Margarida, and Kristlin. He is descibed as tall, grizzled, and powerfully built across the shoulders. He and Kristlin died of lungrot.
