Runi Ordo born Alyxis Farey was born on Dantooine. When she was young, her parents were farmers. The Republic returned to Dantooine, and recruited soldiers to help rebuild and protect the Republic. Her father was scripted by a Jedi Knight, and taken for training off-world. After a few years of service, he returned home. Dantooine was a relatively safe place, but there was always the danger of bandits and pirates. The Jedi were still not welcome in the galaxy, and few were on the run from slavers and bandits.
