"The Beast" was first discovered after a hunting party went missing a few weeks prior. After a search party had come across the remains of the hunting party, they found paw-prints of an unusual size that resembled wolf prints. This led to the belief that there was a pack leader among the Elwynn wolves, and the citizens of Elwynn and Stormwind referred to the creature as "The Beast", and continue to do so to this very day.
